There is something magical about the healing effect of water on our bodies physically and mentally. Remember our bodies are 60% water.

As an invigorating start to the day, or maybe as a wind-down after an energetic work-out or busy day at the office, members can enjoy a few lengths in our magnificent 25 metre heated swimming pool. We also offer two Jacuzzi to lie back and relax in, or for a really deep cleanse, we offer two poolside fibre optic lit steam rooms and two sauna’s, ideal for easing aching muscles and refreshing your skin.

Working out in the water is also a great way to come back from a sports injury, recover from surgery, or maintain your fitness while you’re waiting to get back to your usual weight-bearing sport, like running.

Low impact exercises including swimming are also ideal for pregnant women. Gentle aerobic exercise will maintain a good level of fitness which will help make labour and the subsequent busy time with a newborn easier to cope with.

Aqua aerobic classes and swimming lessons are also available.

Children’s Lessons – Club lessons for January 2019, pre-enrolling now

For all the little swimmers out there Killashee have partnered with three wonderfully qualified and popular instructors Mary Domican, Joanna & Keith. The lessons are divided via age and ability so children can find the level they are at currently and progress accordingly.

Children’s swim categories in Killashee are as follows:

  • Torpedoes

We also run a very popular Swim Club for children as part of their lessons on Wednesday evenings.

Club lessons cater for children from age 4 upwards.

Adult / Children Private Lessons
Killashee have partnered with two swimming instructors, swimming instructor Maxine and Joanna. Both instructors are ASA qualified and offer child & adult lessons on a pay per lesson basis.

Maxine is also a qualified Triathlon coach through Triathlon Ireland and can specialise in open water swim preparation.

Lesson prices:
1 – to – 1 swim lesson €30 – 40 minutes duration – Children or Adults
2 – to – 1 swim lesson €40 – 40 minutes duration – Children or Adults
3 – to – 1 swim lesson €45 – 40 minutes duration – Children or Adults
